Morley School is committed to providing the highest quality education for all Morley students. The Morley Team sees its primary mission to be the development of students who are in the process of becoming
-productive citizens of a pluralistic community, nation, and world,
-lifelong learners, and
-appreciative patrons of the arts, history and culture.
Morley aligns with the Lincoln Board of Education in its mission-at an elementary level. Morley desires to be held accountable for outstanding achievement of this mission through the most effective and efficient use of available resources.
Morley recognizes that students are educated for the future, and therefore, as our Lincoln Public Schools' Board of Education suggests, expectations will be held high utilizing the process of shared decision making with our students, parents, and the community. It is upon this process that we can reflect our philosophy of the Morley Team-Together Everyone Achieves More!
MORLEY'S GOALS REFLECT DISTRICT EMPHASES
To continue meeting the educational needs of our students and live our mission, our emphases are to:
1. Raise the reading, math, and writing achievement of all students scoring below the 50% or below average in reading comprehension, math procedures and writing.
2. Build community among students through character traits, problem solving, understanding of and respecting diversity.
