A CHIRP OF KNOWLEDGE “There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children. One of these is roots; the other, wings.” Hodding Carter (1902-72) American Journalist Giving our students roots and wings, is what we are about at Morley. Of course, we realize that they grow these on their own too, once the stage is set. For our children to socially, emotionally, physically, and academically grow, is a responsibility that we all should welcome and embrace. The Morley staff, is looking forward to sharing our students’ growth with each and every parent and family. We hope that you, too, are anxious to hear and share information at our upcoming parent teacher conference times. Like our first quarter conferences, we know we will reach nearly 100 percent participation. STUDENTS Each one of our students shine in so many ways. Below, is a picture of third grade student Sadie F., as she shares her writing of WHERE I’M FROM.
