Third grade homerooms are heterogeneously grouped. Students with varying abilities and strengths are instructed together during the literacy block.
Math classes are ability grouped, and students may move to the various classrooms according to the designated teacher for academic instruction.
The specific units of study that are covered in Science, Social Studies and Health, are taught to all homeroom classes by all third grade teachers.
