Master Juggler Dave Finnigan
The PTO sponsored a visit by Dave Finnigan (Professor Confidence). Dave worked with every student in Grades K-5.
The kindergarten and first grade students worked on special tricks with the scarves as well as tummy catchers. The second and third grade students worked on scarf juggling with Criss Cross Applesauce as a goal, as well as using two scarves in one hand and making columns. The fourth and fifth grade students worked on cascades and progressing through master scarf juggler to juggling with balls.
The school day ended with an all school assembly featuring the Morley students as stars.
In the evening there was a Juggling Family Night and had a great response. We found out that Morley students were great teachers when moms and dads had to come up on stage to show their juggling skills!
A great time was experienced by all. Thank you PTO.
