We were so very pleased to have the honor of celebrating so many Morley friends and volunteers at the Volunteer Tea April 25. It was just one small way we could express our appreciation for our volunteers' support and involvement at Morley. Several students, under the direction of Mrs. Colwell, were present to share their beautiful music as volunteers and staff celebrated together. We heard a message from Mrs. Vicki Fisher-PTO president, along with Mr. Kevin Naumann and Mrs. Jane Millard, staff co-chairs for volunteers and Morley partners. Appreciation certificates and small gifts of chocolate treasures were shared with all. We enjoyed the treasures of creative clay fish our fourth graders made in art class. With our theme this year “WE TREASURE OUR VOLUNTEERS!” all the pieces flowed together for a most memorable and treasured time! Thank you volunteers! You are so significant and appreciated at Morley School!
Grandma Fern Bates and Grandma Norma Anderson, celebrated together at the Volunteer Tea. Grandma Fern has volunteered every Wednesday for about ten years, in Mrs. Bergholz’s room. Grandma Fern will be celebrating her birthday in May-eighty years young! Grandma Norma has started volunteering on Thursdays. When she is at Morley, three generations are busily learning and playing at Morley-Norma, daughter Mrs. Jeanelle Brester-health technician, and granddaughter Jaime-fourth grade student. How we treasure each and every volunteer and generation of Morley Meadowlarks!
Kindergarten student Trey, along with volunteer father Jay B, chat with volunteer mother Jackie C, along with her kindergarten daughter Hailey, and fourth grade son, Walker. We appreciate all the volunteer work our parents do at Morley! We could not reach the level of excellence we enjoy, without each and every volunteer family!
