The Lincoln Boys Choir performed at Morley on May 15.
Membership in the choir is by audition, and is composed of boys in grades 3-12 who attend public and private schools in Lincoln and the surrounding communities.
The Lincoln Boys Choir engages boys in good choral music, allows them to meet boys from other schools in a cooperative setting, and instills in them the self-confidence and sense of achievement that comes from excellence.
The Choir has been featured on Public Television and have been selected to perform with the University of Nebraska Varsity Men's Chorus, the First Plymough Choir and Plymouth Brass, Abendmusik, the Nebraska Music Educators Association, the Nebraska Choral Directors Conference, the Lincoln Music Teachers Exravaganza, Worlds of Fun, the New Nebraska Quarter Launch with the Governor, and many other events.
This choir has four former Morley students as members - Keon A, Joe B, Andrew D, and BJ K.
Auditions have been held for next school year; two Morley students - Matthew B. and Kai F. have been accepted.
