Morley students work on Character Counts!
You may have noticed the pillars in the hallway at Morley. These represent the 6 strands of the Character Counts program. Children are taught about each of the six character traits:
| * Citizenship * Trustworthiness * Caring * Fairness * Respect * Responsibility |

Teachers have lesson materials to use with their grade level to assist students in developing these skills. With everyone in the building using the same language, we can help students see the universal value of these traits. When a problem occurs, we can assist students in understanding which pillar or area they need to use to develop better character.
Stop by Morley sometime and read the posters in our hallway (and in most classrooms). Then ask your children if they know about Character Counts!
